Loca'blog: understand everything about the modular

A dedicated design office to meet the needs of customers

Locabri has an integrated design office made up of specialists who are proficient in the technical aspects of the job. Their mission is not only related to the development of new products. They also respond to the customers' technical requirements.

CLIMATIC CONSTRAINTS

Some of our customers' sites have climatic constraints, such as snow or wind.

Some of these for example are located at altitude, or in areas subject to high winds. The installations therefore need to meet these significant constraints with regard to snow and wind. Creating plans, 2D or 3D models, resistance calculations and product optimisation make it possible to design structures that are totally in line with the needs and constraints of manufacturers and large retailers.

Locabri's Design Office works to design buildings in compliance with regulations related to the geographical situation, such as the Snow and Wind standard.

LAND CONSTRAINTS

Locabri's removable modular structures have the advantage of being easily installable on different types of surfaces (asphalt, compacted earth, concrete).

However, our customers' land may not be resistant enough to house a modular structure

In order to define the resistance value of the land, our assembly teams carry out pull-out tests to  determine the standard or specific anchorage types.

Depending on the results of this test, our design office will recommend specific anchoring methods to enable the project to be carried out.

sectoral constraints

Other constraints may be related to industry-specific standards. For example, food sector companies may be subject to several standards such as the IFS.

If this is the case, our Design Office will propose to the customer the appropriate technical solutions. From the choice of materials to static calculations, our design office is a driving force to meet our customers' expectations with regard to removable modular buildings
