What temperature is applicable for my removable modular structure?

The thermal environment is an important criterion in order to bring a high level of comfort to the employees who work, but also so that the goods are stored in good conditions.

Set the temperature according to the activity

Depending on the activity, the indoor temperature will not be the same. Here is a summary of the temperatures to remember:

  • Frost protection of a building: +5°C
  • Light activity, sitting position: 20-22°C
  • Standing activity: 17-19°C
  • Sustained physical activity: 14-16°C

How to heat a MODULAR building

Heating equipment is an integral part of the rented modular building.

Whether it is for short-term or long-term rentals, or for purchase, the buildings can be equipped with heating.

This equipment can be installed at the same time as the structure but can also be installed once the building is in operation.

Locabri will carry out a study so that the person who recommends the heating configuration will have all the necessary information for its sizing:

  • Activity,
  • Building surface area,
  • Geographical location,,
  • Rental period,

The air change rate indicates the minimum airflow of the hot air generator to be installed. It is calculated to meet the customer's requirements.
For example, for a removable modular structure of 6,000 m3, the air flow of the hot air generator must be between 15,000 and 18,000 m3/h.

Installation of a heating system

Once the solution is approved by the customer, a heating professional will come to the site to instal this equipment in compliance with current regulations.

His/her assignment will be as follows: delivery and unloading, installation of equipment, commissioning, maintenance, and dismantling and withdrawal at the end of the rental.

Once installed, the heating will provide the required temperature within the modular structure.
