Loca'blog: understand everything about the modular

Reorganisation of a production site at Oxena

Oxena, created more than 60 years ago, is part of the CTH group. Located in Portes lès Valences, it specialises in the manufacture of bleach-based products, demineralised water, anti-foam and anti-mould products.

The problem :

Oxena is growing rapidly and the organisation of the production site is being reorganised with the creation of a new production line. It planned to double its production at least. It therefore needed to create another production line, and to reorganise the storage.

It needed to store packaging such as cans and jerry cans on pallets.

The challenge for Locabri :

Integrate open storage space in the open air. Oxena wants to store as high as possible, and comes to pick up with the trolleys.

The chosen solution :

The installation of a Flexibat modular structure of 600m² with a useful height of 6m, one of the long sides is open.

Why modular ?

« We chose the modular system for administrative reasons; it was easier to manage, and for the speed of execution.

In April 2019, Locabri installed a 15-metre wide, 40-metre long building, one side of which is completely open, with a height of 6 metres.
The biggest problem on the site is the climate, the wind, because we store at height. The Locabri teams have already made technical adjustments to strengthen the resistance. »
