Storage and protection of equipment at Reval'Green

The intensive use of resources and the release of waste into the environment contribute to the deterioration of our environment. The volume of waste has increased since 1950, as have its harmful effects on health, the environment and the economy.

That is why sustainable waste management and treatment is everyone's business.

Treatment begins after the collection and transport of waste. It is carried out by private or public operators.

Waste recovery refers to a set of processes by which a material waste is transformed into another product, material or energy.

For more than 40 years, many companies in the energy and environment sector, specialising in waste treatment, have relied on Locabri to expand their storage or production area at each stage of their process :

  • Receipt and storage of waste prior to treatment,
  • Protection of the working area during waste processing,
  • Storage of processed products before shipment and reuse at different production sites

This is the case of Reval'green, a French company specialised in the recycling of synthetic turf. The recycling of synthetic turf at the end of its life is a real problem : because of the growing awareness of sustainable development and the fact that a large number of synthetic turf pitches are reaching the end of their life.

The recovery of synthetic turf begins with the cleaning and separation of the different materials. The synthetic fibre is then crushed to become a secondary raw material sold to the plastics industry.

Reval'green currently has two dismountable modular structures on its site for two different uses.

A structure for drying materials

The company's first need was to house the waste so that it could dry out before it could be processed. This step is essential in their material recycling process.

In order to respond quickly to this need for additional space, the company called on Locabri to rent a 200m² dismountable modular structure.

After several years of use and the increase in the quantity of material to be recycled, Reval'green has progressively enlarged the surface of the structure, which currently measures 1,100 m².

Protection of teams

With the expansion of its activity, Reval'green has commissioned a new shredding line for the recycling of grass fibre. To accommodate this new line, the company once again called on Locabri.
Part of this treatment line is located outside the existing building. The use of the modular canopy allows the protection of the teams working on this end of line.

Implementation in line with expectations

The Locabri teams were quickly on site to install the structures.

The Reval'green teams are satisfied with the new buildings, which allow them to work in good conditions.
